Check-in using the Ticket App

In this article, you'll learn how to complete check-ins securely, simply, and conveniently by using the e-guma Ticket App. Two different varieties of check-in are available: you can either scan QR codes or you can search by the guest's name.

Scanning QR codes

An acoustic signal sounds during check-in and check-out (successful and faulty). Do not switch the mobile device to mute for this.

1
Start the Ticket App and log in using your e-guma login details. If you don't know your login details, contact us immediately.
2
Select the desired event.
3
Scan the QR code on the ticket. If the ticket is valid, the app will report this with a green tick. In addition, the name of the ticket variant is displayed in the green bar. If it is an admission with a calendar, you will also see the start date of the admission.
4
If the ticket is not valid, a red cross will appear.

Invalid tickets

If a ticket is invalid, for instance because it has already been checked in, a red cross will appear. The validation information will remain visible.

Searching for a guest

This version is only applicable to check-ins at events and admissions with calendar.

1
Start the Ticket App and log in using your e-guma login details. If you don't know your login details,  contact us immediately.
2
Select the desired event.
3
In the menu, select the right-hand Attendees button.
4
Search by the guest's given name or family name.
5
Swipe right on the name to check the ticket in. The ticket will now be labelled in green.

If a comment is entered, it will appear in the participant field. The customer comment is listed first, followed by the internal comment in italics.

Checking a ticket out

If you have incorrectly checked a ticket in, you can swipe left to check the ticket out again.

Check-out Function

Go to the settings and activate the Check-out function.

Now select the desired event/entry and click on the arrow symbol to change the mode from Check-in to Check-out.

Check in tickets for several events at the same time

If you are selling a ticket that is valid for several events (for example day passes for a music festival or a multi-day pass), you can check in all tickets via the check-in mask for Events and admissions. This means you do not have to switch between the individual events in the e-guma Ticket App.

Additional information about the ticket and the event / admission will be displayed at check-in.
