Ordered vouchers and products can optionally be picked up locally in addition to being shipped by mail.

Activate setting
If you want to offer local pickup, activate the option in the voucher shop settings.
The use of local pickup is only possible if you have activated the order management in the voucher system.
Once the setting is active, you can define the estimated pickup time. This informs your customers in a non-binding way when the order will likely be ready for pickup.
Process in the online shop
The information area in the online shop footer shows that orders can also be picked up on-site.
As soon as local pickup is available for the current cart, the option will be listed under shipping methods. Depending on the combination of payment method and ordered items, local pickup may not always be available.
The estimated pickup time indicates when the order is usually ready for pickup.
On the confirmation page, the note about pickup and the pickup time is shown again. After purchase, this note is also included in the confirmation email. We instruct customers to bring the confirmation email when picking up the order. This provides you with a reference to identify the order.
Notification to the business
When an order is placed for local pickup, you will also be notified by email. The notification is sent to the same email address as for orders that need to be shipped by mail.
Pickup and view in order management
In the order management, the label Not picked up indicates that the respective order is still to be picked up.
When the customer picks up the order, you can click the Pickup button to prepare the necessary documents and products and then confirm the pickup.
The order history shows when the pickup was confirmed.
If the order was accidentally marked as picked up, you can undo this action.
Combination with purchase on invoice
Vouchers can be ordered on invoice and picked up on-site if you deliver the vouchers and the invoice together (no prepayment). The customer picks up the vouchers along with the invoice on-site. If the invoice must be paid before sending vouchers, local pickup is not available.
If you sell products on account, they must be paid before e-guma triggers the shipment. As soon as a product is in the cart, invoice and local pickup cannot be combined.
Force pickup for individual products
If you assign the tag Only-pickup-in-store
to a product, an order containing that product can only be picked up on-site. This can be used, for example, for a gift basket that cannot be shipped.
