Ticketpass for events
In this article
With a ticket pass for events, you sell tickets or passes that are valid for multiple events. The main task of the ticket pass is to determine the correct number of available tickets across all involved events.
Example of determining available tickets
The availability of tickets for the involved events controls the availability of the ticket pass. In the following example, the ticket pass includes three events:
Event A | 50 available tickets |
Event B | 11 available tickets |
Event C | 35 available tickets |
In this example, a maximum of 11 ticket passes can be purchased.
When a ticket pass is sold, the availability for all events of the ticket pass is automatically reduced. After purchasing a ticket pass, the availability looks as follows:
Event A | 49 available tickets |
Event B | 10 available tickets |
Event C | 34 available tickets |
For the ticket pass, you can also specify a quota, which will be taken into account when calculating the available ticket passes.
Setting up a ticket pass
To set up a ticket pass, set up a corresponding event and set the quota variant Quota on Event.
In the Advanced Settings section, activate the option Ticket pass for multiple events and select the involved events.
For a ticket pass, the option Hide Date is automatically selected.
The quota variant can no longer be adjusted for a ticket pass or for the events of a ticket pass.
Ticket passes can be personalized using questions per ticket so that they are not transferable. In this case, we recommend appropriate communication in the online shop and on the ticket.
Event overview
In the overview of your events, you can identify whether it is a ticket pass or an event of a ticket pass by the labels.
Ticket pass in the online shop
In the online shop, the ticket pass is automatically displayed above the stored events, regardless of the specified date of the ticket pass. Therefore, set the date of the ticket pass freely or define it as the date until which the pass can be sold.
Check-in
We recommend enabling multiple check-ins for the ticket pass so that a check-in can be performed at each of the involved events.
Since tickets for two events (ticket pass and the event itself) are checked in on-site, check-in must be performed in the Ticket App via Events and Entries.
