Setting up external sales locations
External sales locations therefore only have access to the ticket issuing function, their own orders, and their own sales report. You can learn more about permissions in the ticketing system here.
You may exclude certain ticket types from sale at external sales locations. Simply add the tag "Hide-for-external-sales-locations" to the those ticket types.
Orders
As the organiser, you see all orders, i.e., including orders generated by the external sales location.
Sales report
All external sales locations are summarised under the External sales location payment method. You can display the sales of a specific external sales location using the User filter.
Important factors for external sales locations
Issuing tickets
The external sales location
- can issue tickets for any event;
- cannot create discounts;
- cannot redeem vouchers;
- cannot select payment methods. The External sales location payment method is automatically used;
- does not receive a receipt from e-guma, as it would not be issued by the external sales location.
Orders
In the Order Management function, external sales locations will only see tickets that they have issued themselves.
You will see the payment method in the detailed view shown as External sales location.
