Integration for Lightspeed K-Series

With the integration of e-guma into Lightspeed K-Series, vouchers can be redeemed, topped up, activated, and the balance can be checked directly at the checkout. By scanning the QR codes with the device camera, vouchers are read quickly. This integration optimizes your processes, reduces errors, simplifies administration, and significantly reduces the time required.

Costs

Lightspeed charges a fee for using the integration. This is invoiced to us by Lightspeed and passed on to you. The cost is CHF 24.- (excl. VAT) per Lightspeed location per month.

Limitations

This integration cannot be used for small clients. That is, for a member of an e-guma organization who does not have a full version of e-guma, this integration is unavailable.
Vouchers cannot be used for tips.
Depending on the device and software, camera access may not be available. In this case, the voucher code must be entered manually, or from 3 characters entered, possible codes will be suggested.

In Use

All voucher-related actions can be found in one central place. Select e-guma Vouchers at the checkout and then select e-guma Vouchers again.

A window will open where you can redeem, activate, top up, or check the balance of a voucher.

Depending on your e-guma configuration, not all buttons may be displayed. However, you can contact our support to unlock these features.

For all actions, you can scan the QR code of a voucher using the device camera (iPad or iPhone). If the QR code is unreadable for any reason, you can enter it manually. Barcodes cannot be scanned and must be entered manually.

Redeem

Select the Redeem button and scan the QR code of the voucher. If the voucher is valid, you can redeem it by selecting the pay with voucher button.

If you want to redeem additional vouchers, you can reopen the e-guma window.

Activate

Select the Activate button and scan the QR code of the voucher. Confirm the sale by selecting the Activate button.

If it is a stock voucher with a free amount, enter the amount.

Then, the voucher sale will appear under the entered items.

Top Up

Select the Top Up button and scan the QR code of the voucher. Enter the amount to be topped up and confirm with Top Up.

Then the top-up will appear under the entered items.

Check Balance

Select the "Check Balance" button and scan the QR code of the voucher. If the voucher is valid, the current balance will be displayed.

Refund

If you perform a “Full Refund” for a receipt that includes vouchers as payment, the redemptions in e-guma will be canceled. The same applies if the receipt contains sold stock vouchers or top-ups. The vouchers and top-ups will be canceled.
