About Swisscard AECS

Swisscard AECS GmbH was founded in 1998 as a joint venture between Credit Suisse and American Express. As a card issuer, the business is responsible for product development, marketing and distribution, customer services and card processing in Switzerland. In addition, Swisscard AECS GmbH acts as American Express's merchant acquirer, with responsibility for developing and operating American Express's network for card acceptance in Switzerland.

Applying for an acceptance contract

We will apply to Swisscard AECS on your behalf for an acceptance contract for distance selling (e-commerce), so that you can accept AmEx as a payment method in your online shop. This contract will be sent directly to you by Swisscard AECS.

Payment of your credits

Credits may be paid either  3, 7 or 14  days after the transaction date. Once you have entered into a contract, you will receive a dossier that contains full and detailed information.
