Overview of message templates

Create a message
Name
Enter an internal name for the message. This name is used in the overview and in the history.

Sending time
A sending time must be specified for each message template. If you want to send several messages at different times, please create a separate message template for each one.

Sending messages for new orders
If you enable this option, emails will be sent immediately for new orders placed after the scheduled messages have already been sent. This option is enabled by default.

Subject and message
Enter a subject and message in all languages enabled in your ticketing system. Customers who purchase their tickets in a different language version of the online shop will receive the message in the corresponding language.
You can use the same placeholders in the subject and message as those available for manually sending messages to participants.

Send a test email
You can send a test email before the automatic messages are sent. The campaign must be saved first.
No advertising
Please note that automated emails may only be sent in connection with an order and the corresponding event or admission. They must not contain any advertising. You must confirm this before saving.
Add a message to an event or admission with calendar
To link a message template to an event or admission with calendar, add it to the relevant events or admissions.
To do so, enable the Automatic message to participants option in the advanced settings and add the desired message. You can add multiple message templates to each event or admission.

As soon as an automatic campaign has been added to an event or admission, a corresponding label is displayed in the event or admission overview.

Sending messages
If the Automatic message to participants option is enabled for an event or admission with calendar, emails are automatically sent to all participants when the specified sending time is reached. For admissions with calendar, emails are sent daily for all relevant time slots, depending on the calendar configuration and the orders placed.
- Emails are still sent if an event or admission is no longer published, for example if sales have been paused or the admission is in the past.
- If an event is cancelled, no emails are sent.
- If an event is rescheduled, whether the message is sent again depends on whether the specified sending time, e.g. 4 days before the event, is reached again.
- Cancelled orders are excluded and do not receive an email.
History entry in order management
When an automatic message is sent, an entry is added to the history on the order details page.
