Editing a payment method

In this article, you'll learn how to edit the payment method of a voucher.

User permissions

In order to edit the expiry date of a voucher, you must have access to the Voucher system -> Management permission. If your user account does not have the necessary permission, please contact your internal e-guma administrator.

Local payments

In the menu of the e-guma voucher system, select Vouchers -> Orders.
If the Order Management is not yet available in your account, please contact us so that we can activate it for you.

Click on an order to see a detailed view of the voucher order.

Click Edit next to the Method of payment.

Enter the new payment method as well a comment as to why you are changing the payment method, then click Save.

If an order contains several vouchers, the payment method will be changed for all vouchers.

The new payment method will be shown in the detailed view.

In the Voucher history, a new entry will be added.

In the Sales Report, the voucher order on the day of sale will be updated with the new payment method.
Payment methods that cannot be edited

Payment methods cannot be amended for orders with multiple payment methods or where the payment method is set to Invoice or Complimentary. Please contact the e-guma Support Team.

   

Online payments

Credit card payments in the online shop are processed in real time. This is why the payment method for online payments cannot be changed.

   

Redeemed vouchers

As soon as a voucher in an order has been redeemed, it is no longer possible to change the payment method.
