For the second variant, there is a procedure in e-guma that can be activated individually per voucher type. The procedure works as follows: in the case of vouchers issued at a lower price, when they are redeemed the credit is automatically increased by the difference.
In the current version, we activate automatic crediting for you in the event of a price increase for the desired voucher types. Please note that depending on changes made to a voucher type, this function may no longer be applicable to all issued vouchers.
Redeem voucher
For the display of the credit when redeeming, e-guma calculates the new credit in the background and informs you about the increase.
At the time the voucher is checked, the balance is not yet increased. By clicking on Redeem CHF 102.00 is redeemed and the difference of CHF 6.00 is posted in the sales report.
Retroactive redemption
If a voucher is redeemed retroactively, the entry in the sales report is also saved with this date.
Partly redeemed vouchers
No credit will be given for vouchers that have been partially redeemed.
Partly redeem vouchers
It is possible to redeem only a partial amount. The difference will be credited. If, for example, CHF 48.00 of the upper accommodation voucher is redeemed, the credit is first increased to CHF 102.00 and then the CHF 48.00 is redeemed. A credit balance of CHF 54.00 remains.
Cancel redemption
A redemption can be cancelled. However, the credit for the price increase will not be reversed.
Maison vouchers
There is no increase in credit for Maison vouchers.
Sales report
In order for the accounting to be correct, you must enter the difference (in this example the CHF 6.00).
Voucher detail page
On the details page of a voucher, you can see whether it is possible to increase the credit.
Convert to value voucher If no increase in credit is desired, the voucher can be converted into a value voucher. The conversion does not take the price increase into account. In this example, the value voucher would have a credit balance of CHF 96.00.
